- The Thermo-Quell is an insulated drinking bowl made of UV-resistant polyethylene that supplies water even at extreme sub-zero temperatures without the need for electricity. The cavity in the double-walled plastic is filled with foam and ensures perfect insulation. Water is supplied via a frost-proof supply line laid in the ground. Water at ground temperature (approx. 6°C in winter) flows into the bowl via the built-in MAXIFLOW high-performance float valve (up to 40 l/min.) The water level can be adjusted at the MAXIFLOW valve. The animals’ continuous water consumption ensures that the water at ground temperature is replenished, thereby preventing the drinking bowl from freezing.
The Thermo-Quell drinking bowls are recommended when frost protection is necessary but no electricity is available.
Model 630 and model 640: for cattle and horses. When drinking, the animals push the ball to the side; once they leave the drinking point the ball closes the opening again.
