ANCOR facilitates communication for machine operators by enabling hands-free radio functions and calls with the highest voice quality - for greater productivity and safety in everyday working life. In addition, active noise cancellation can protect against long-term hearing loss by reducing machine noise by up to 50%. Music playback via Bluetooth and optional radio connection round off the package, and make ANCOR a unique audio solution for machine operators of all kinds.

ANCOR is available as a retrofit solution (ANCOR headrest), and is compatible with all machines that have a headrest and seat with a long backrest. It can also be retrofitted to existing machines, or fully integrated with the required components in new machines.
ANCOR is as intuitive to use as any Bluetooth speaker. Thanks to the Bluetooth interface, a smartphone can be easily connected to ANCOR and used to make calls, play music or listen to the radio. The adaptive volume control regulates the music volume for incoming calls or radio.

ANCOR can increase occupational safety by simplifying communication within the team, and reducing background noise to such an extent that the working environment and important warning signals become more audible.
Up to now, active noise cancellation has only been available with headphones. The ANCOR system works in the open, i.e. no headphones or similar devices need to be worn. This is achieved thanks to reference microphones and sensors that pick up the sound (machine noise) and produce a corresponding counter-sound with the result that certain sound waves cancel each other out. The noise perceptible to the ear is therefore reduced by up to 50% (particularly low-frequency engine noise).
The effect of active noise reduction is significant (up to 10 dB(A)), but cannot be compared with classic capsule ear defenders. The ANCOR system is effective in the frequency range below 700 Hz with limited expansion of the quiet zone to approx. 10 - 30 cm. Other types of hearing protection have a broader effect and are always ideally aligned to the ear.

ANCOR simplifies communication - be it via radio or telephone. You can connect your smartphone via Bluetooth, and make and receive calls hands-free. This gives you full control of the machine without any loss of voice quality. The integrated radio module is compatible with all common radio standards and radio helmets, and can be operated via a radio pedal or integrated directly into the joystick.
ANCOR supports all common operating and CB handheld radios such as Kenwood, Motorola, Midland, iCom and Stabo. Helmet radio solutions from 3M Peltor LiteCom can be used to communicate via a compatible handheld radio. ANCOR also supports mobile radios from Stabo, Kenwood and Midland.

With the recalm ANCOR (Active Noise Cancelling Offered by recalm), the user will benefit from unique audio quality and new communication options. The system is based on many years of analysis of numerous construction, agricultural and forestry machinery cabs.

The user-centred wireless connection with push-to-talk button directly on the joystick enables hands-free and interference-free communication. This saves a great deal of time as there are no incomprehensible radio signals, and machines and radios don’t have to be constantly switched on and off. This increases efficiency and optimises the workflow and coordination.

In addition, barrier-free communication prevents communication problems, accidents and errors. Calls can also be answered without interrupting work with the machine. As a result, recalm enables an unprecedented level of teamwork, work safety and productivity!
