DAB+ digital radio with automatic DAB/FM switching

The DAB+ tuner receives the extensive range of digitally broadcast radio programmes in fantastic quality and free from any interference noise - and not just in Germany, as digital radio is now available in almost all European countries. Seamless Blending enables uninterrupted reception even if the digital signal is temporarily unavailable. The receiver switches to the corresponding FM station and back again at lightning speed and practically inaudibly. This is made possible by a data buffer that permanently stores the digital and analogue signals of the selected programme and coordinates them when switching.


Compatible with Amazon Alexa

You can talk to Amazon Alexa on this JVC car radio. The integrated Alexa voice assistant can be used in conjunction with your smartphone to make phone calls, play music, listen to audiobooks, news or weather forecasts, control smart home devices, search for car parks, get directions, and more - and thanks to voice control, your can keep your hands on the steering wheel and your eyes on the road.
To use Alexa, the Amazon Alexa Companion app must be installed on your smartphone and connected to your Amazon account. The JVC radio is simply added as a new device in the app and the Alexa function is activated using the mic button on the car radio.

Bluetooth hands-free kit with audio streaming br>
The Bluetooth module allows phone calls to be made safely while driving, and can be paired with up to two phones simultaneously. The voice quality of the hands-free system is noticeably improved by using the external microphone supplied, in addition to sophisticated sound processing which suppresses background noise and further increases the intelligibility of speech. Pairing a smartphone for the first time is easy thanks to BT Automatic Pairing for iOS and Android. This is done once via USB, and the smartphone and car radio are then subsequently paired via Bluetooth automatically.

Variable button illumination in 2 zones

The lighting colour can be individually adjusted for two areas. 49 preset colour combinations and a user preset mean that there are almost infinite possibilities for customising the front lighting. In addition, RGB values can be entered manually in 32 steps, meaning that over 30,000 colour tones are available. If desired, the lighting can change in time to the music using 10 different animations.


Short body

The short body measuring just 10 cm allows installation even in vehicles with a short DIN slot.


DSP with time alignment

Time alignment:
The DSP with time alignment allows music to be played back at the correct time and can be set individually for each channel. By selecting the type of speaker used and the distance to the listening position, the car radio automatically calculates the ideal delay for each individual channel to ensure that the sound reaches the listener at the correct time. This ensures perfect sound.
Sound Lift:
This setting can be used to influence the spatial position of the sound image.
Volume Link EQ:
The Volume Link EQ amplifies the frequencies that are masked by driving noise, and compensates for the masking caused by unwanted external driving noise.


K2 sound tuning technology for digital sources

The K2 technology developed by JVCKENWOOD restores the original sound of a recording by expanding the bit rate and frequency range. The K2 technology works with all sources (including CDs) and extends their recording spectrum for example to 48 kHz/24 bit by reconstructing lost high-frequency components.
