The DSP 500-1000 drop side folding stanchion system is a mechanical device for locking and unlocking folding aluminium drop sides on commercial vehicle bodies. The drop side folding stanchion system also serves as an additional support point for the roof structure. The drop side folding stanchion system can be completely detached from the vehicle frame to fully expose the loading area for loading.
