For installation in the drinking trough. 24 V, 180 W with stainless steel cover plate and cable junction box. Frost protection of the drinker down to -20 °C. For installation, only four mounting holes need to be drilled into the bottom of the drinking trough as per the template.
The electrical connection is made via a SUEVIA transformer 230/24 V. An external thermostat can be connected upstream of the transformer. A 24 V frost protection heating cable is required to heat the branch line.
When using a frost protection heating cable, it is connected to the heating coil of the drinking bowl in parallel with the power supply line coming from the transformer. If the frost protection heating pipe is laid on plastic pipes, please ensure that the pipe is suitable for hot and cold water. For better heat distribution, the plastic cable must first be wrapped with aluminium adhesive tape before the cable is placed on it.
