SAE 100 R8
When used as intended, rubber, thermoplastic and PTFE hoses are generally suitable for use with organic oils according to VDMA 24568 or ISO 15380, oils based on synthetic esters (HEES), on rapeseed oil (HETG) and on polyglycol (HEPG). However, additives and various operating conditions can limit this stability.
The operator is also responsible for periodical oil management to ensure proper operation of the hydraulics. If quality assurance maintenance is not carried out, wear or even failure can occur, for example due to cavitation or abrasion in the hose connection.
Application:
Flexible high-pressure hydraulic lines up to 420 bar.
• Use for synthetic oils or water-based fluids in hydraulic systems
• For agricultural machinery, earthmoving machinery, hydraulic cutters and other lifting and handling equipment
• Standard: SAE 100 R8 / DIN EN 855
• Interior construction: thermoplastic elastomers
• Insert: 1-ply braid made of high-strength aramid fibres
• Cover: black polyurethane
• Temperature:
-40°C to +100°C (only up to +70°C for air and water-based fluids)
