SAE 100 R2
When used as intended, rubber, thermoplastic and PTFE hoses are generally suitable for use with organic oils according to VDMA 24568 or ISO 15380, oils based on synthetic esters (HEES), on rapeseed oil (HETG) and on polyglycol (HEPG). However, additives and various operating conditions can limit this stability.
The operator is also responsible for periodical oil management to ensure proper operation of the hydraulics. If quality assurance maintenance is not carried out, wear or even failure can occur, for example due to cavitation or abrasion in the hose connection.
Application:
Medium-pressure hydraulic lines 100 to 450 bar.
• Hydraulic applications where abrasion resistance and resistance to mineral oil are required
• Use for synthetic fluids or water-based fluids in hydraulic systems
• For agricultural machinery, machinery for earthworks, articulated and telescopic booms, and other lifting and handling equipment
• Standard: hose, exceeds SAE/EN standards for steel wire braid hose specifications
• Interior construction: thermoplastic elastomers
• Insert: double steel wire braid
• Cover:
black, polyurethane
• Temperature: -40°C to +100°C (only up to +70°C for air and water-based fluids)
