MXT - SAE 100 R16

Gates introduces MXT™, a new hydraulic hose solution that is significantly lighter and more flexible. This innovative addition to Gates' premium MegaSys™ hydraulics portfolio has been specifically designed to meet changing application requirements. By using new material and design technologies, we help our customers reduce the weight of their machines, simplify hose assembly, and shorten assembly time without compromising performance. MXT is an all-purpose premium product manufactured with high-performance reinforcement (in the patenting process) and high-quality rubber, thus exceeding industry standards.

• More flexible and easier to bend, for faster and more ergonomic assembly. Up to 45% of EN 857 2SC bending radius at nominal working pressure
• Tested over 3 times the pulse requirements (600,000 cycles) of current industry standards.
• Compatible with MegaCrimp™ fittings and Gates presses.
• Fully cross-functional, multi-functional hydraulic hose solution covering 90% of the market applications for steel wire braided hoses.
• Material: Black, oil-resistant hose made of synthetic rubber. Braided high tensile steel wire armour. Cover made of black synthetic rubber. Meets MSHA requirements for flame resistance.
• Temperature range: -40 ºC to +100 ºC.
