FLAT-FACE SCREW COUPLING
VP series, can be coupled under pressure
General technical features
• Material: highly resistant carbon steel
• Housing: galvanised/QPQ
• Optimum number of locking balls for excellent durability
• Protection against unwanted uncoupling
• Springs made of C 72 or AISI 302 to protect against rust
• Specially shaped support ring made of Teflon, NBR seal 75 Shore, temperature-resistant between -20°C and +100°C
Never apply pressure pulses to the sleeve when uncoupled.
The coupling is equipped with a locking ring on the plug which prevents unwanted uncoupling (e.g. due to vibrations on the excavator arm).
