The TLX is a flat sealing screw coupling made of alloy steel. Highly stressed parts are hardened for maximum performance.
The surface has a zinc-nickel coating. The TLX is a drip-free coupling that meets CEJN’s standards relating to cleanliness and leak-free performance.
The flow capacity of the TLX is not limited. The coupling is also able to withstand high flow rates without failures. The limit can be seen on the machine side as an excessively high pressure drop is not desired, which in turn can lead to heating of the hydraulic system. When the optimum TLX size has been chosen for the flow of the hydraulic system, it can also handle larger flow peaks in certain applications.
• For excellent stability at extreme flow rates and in the event of flow rate fluctuations, that can also withstand pressure peaks
• With robust construction for high reliability
• Specially developed for the construction and demolition sectors
• Temperature range: 30°C - +100°C (-22°F - +212°F)
• Seal material: nitrile rubber (NBR), HNBR for higher temperatures on request
• Material: high-alloy steel with zinc-nickel surface
• Coupling capability: coupling under residual pressure possible (depending on operator force)
• Uncoupling under pressure: uncoupling with residual pressure in the system permissible
• Max. operating pressure
DN 12.5 - DN 32: coupled 420 bar, uncoupled: 420 bar
DN 38: coupled 380 bar, uncoupled 380 bar
• Min. burst pressure
DN 12.5 - DN 32: coupled 1680 bar, uncoupled: 1000 bar
DN 38: coupled 1520 bar, uncoupled 1000 bar
