Multipurpose hose with internal and external rubber coating
Application:
• Construction and industry
• Agriculture and mining
• Liquids (including hot water) and compressed air
• Irrigation and slurry hoses
• Sewer cleaning and cable protection
• For heavy-duty applications
Advantages:
• Abrasion-resistant, robust and durable
• Resistant to oil, petrol and chemicals (see resistance list)
• Resistant to heat, ageing and ozone
• Very low pressure loss and low elongation
• Very light, flexible and pressure-resistant in comparison with mandrel-wound industrial hoses
• For heavy-duty applications
Fabric inlay properties:
• Warp: polyester, high-strength
• Weft: polyamide/polyester, circular weave
• The special fabric construction ensures low longitudinal elongation, outstanding bond strength and a significantly lower pressure loss compared with a 100% polyester fabric inlay
• Completely embedded in the rubber coating, providing optimum protection against mechanical damage
Internal and external rubber coating:
• very high-quality NBR/PVC blend, pressed through the textile inlay in a special single-stage extrusion process
• special mixture additives provide for superior ageing and ozone resistance
• interior: very smooth for minimal pressure loss
• exterior: ribbed for high abrasion resistance, protection against contact heat
Operating pressure:
Specifications only apply to the hose (medium: water, 20 °C). For hoses with couplings, the operating pressure may be lower than indicated above due to the rated pressure of the couplings or the type of installation. With compressed air, the maximum operating pressure is 25% of the burst pressure. Maximum operating pressure: Can only be approved by the manufacturer once the exact area of application has been clarified
Tensile strength:
The maximum tensile load during continuous operation should not exceed 1/3 of the tensile strength.
Temperature range:
Continuous operation -20 °C to +80 °C (water), temporarily up to +100 °C (water)
