For intensive applications such as tillage, Walterscheid now offers a new Heavy Duty ball sleeve which is characterised by increased demands on the materials and manufacturing processes, and therefore higher safety and durability during use - even under the most difficult conditions.
Only high-quality materials are used to produce the new black ball from Walterscheid.
A chrome-alloyed roller bearing steel is used as the material base. This is refined in a coordinated heat treatment process, and protected against rust by cathodic dip coating.
This manufacturing process also creates the high-quality coating’s typical black colour.
