Description:
In common rail engine technology, the exhaust gas coolers have the important task of cooling the exhaust gases to the correct temperature so that the exhaust gas standard can be met. The associated temperature changes cause condensate to form, which ultimately leads to corrosion damage. These can lead to leaks that require replacement of the exhaust gas cooler. GRANIT exhaust gas coolers have been tested for material analysis, leak tightness and cooling performance by our laboratory. The laboratory result shows that the service life of GRANIT exhaust gas coolers is as long as that of the OE manufacturers.
