The VP1 is the world's first variable displacement truck pump. It can be mounted directly on the power take-off and is specially designed for hydraulic systems where a variable displacement volume is advantageous.
One area of application where the advantages of the VP1 are fully realised is truck cranes with load sensing systems. The complex hydraulic systems of, for example, waste disposal and suction vehicles as well as various combinations of tippers, cranes, snow ploughs, sand and salt-spreading vehicles etc. can be considerably simplified and optimised with the VP1.
The VP1 provides the hydraulic system with the right flow at the right time, effectively reducing energy consumption and heat generation. As a result, the hydraulic system is quieter, smoother and more environmentally friendly.
The VP1 impresses with its high efficiency and low weight. It is also very reliable, economical and easy to install.
The 6 pump sizes, VP1-045,-060, -075, -095, -110 and -130 have the same small installation dimensions.
Large angle design
- compact design. The design allows a large angle of 20° between the piston drum and the swashplate, resulting in a compact pump with small external dimensions.
Series connection
the continuous shaft for nominal sizes -045, -060 and -075 allows the installation of the same pump or as e.g. a F1 pump with constant displacement volume.
Long service life
the VP1 is designed for trucks with a load-sensing hydraulic system. It is extremely robust, yet simple in design and has few moving parts. The result is a reliable pump with a long service life.
