GRANIT has a new version of the standard concave disc: the GRANIT Inphinium concave disc.
These discs are made of a special steel that ensures a consistently high hardness of 55 (tolerance -2) HRc, together with a high level of toughness. Thanks to their increased hardness, the GRANIT Inphinium concave discs have a 25% longer service life than the standard concave discs (depending on soil type and moisture levels).

The standard discs made of drilling steel have a consistent hardness of 50 (tolerance -2) HRc. At the same hardness as the Inphinium steel (55 HRc), the drilling steel would lose its toughness and become brittle. Brittle wearing parts/steels may break when subjected to heavy loading such as contact with stones.
